Apparently people are starting to think about traveling to Walt Disney World again. That's what Jay Rasulo announced yesterday in New York. Online inquiries are up, says Jay. Hopefully this is a sign of a turnaround for Orlando, which has seen a significant drop in tourist dollars these last two years.
How about you? Are you coming to WDW in the future? Or have you canceled your trip?
We're really hoping to get down in January or February. We need some magic in the middle of the winter doldrums!
We're going in December. Lately, we've been going on a couple of short trips a year, but this will be a long one. Nothing planned for 2010.
Chris, would would have to happen to make you book something for 2010?

I'd love to go back, but it's just way too expensive for me. And since I'm about an hour from Disneyland, that's where I'll be getting my Disney park fix. Not that it is a bad compromise.

Is it bad that I already pretty much have the entire trip planned out, and we just learned we were going less than a week ago? :)
I have always wanted to go. But haven't had the chance yet.
I wil be heading into the parks for the Holiday Parade Taping and hopefully a few times befor but nothing too solid yet... as a Orlandoian we dont have to plan too far in advance!
We went twice this year, both unexpected last minute trips. We are looking at Christmas 2010.
I love WDW at Christmas Time. There's just that extra layer of beautiful going on.
John, How soon after Halloween do the Christmas decorations go up?
Well, pretty soon usually. At the MK today all the halloween stuff was down and holiday napkins and cups were out. But no decorations yet. Usually it goes up in about 4-5 days in the second week of November. But it depends on certain factors, like any in park filming or events.
